Multiple Pileup Closes Eastern Distributor

The Eastern Distributor tunnel was closed for two and a half hours today after a multiple car pileup in which at least 14 people were injured.
Paramedics treated casualties at the scene and eight people, including three children, were taken to hospital in a stable condition. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
